Alberto Gonzales, executioner of Liberty
November 21, 2007 | Filed Under Government, News, Scandals, War | Leave a Comment
Attorney General Alberto Gonzales was instrumental in helping President Bush send Americans off to get butchered in the middle east. He, like President Bush, is complicit in crimes that not only violate federal and international law, but do a number on the Constitution.
There is nothing about this administration that is good for America. We’ve lost so much of our essence to these murderers, and they sit around and smile. The smug look on their faces is enough to make any American gag. In the end, justice will prevail. Good WILL triumph over evil, it’s unfortunate that the rhetoric about good and evil is now best focused on our own country. Blood is on their hands and God will be the ultimate judge.
President Bush and Attorney Gonzales better come up with a better plan around the divine than “Weapons of Mass Destruction” and “God told me to invade Iraq” because lying won’t be an option.
a tale of conservative shame and guilt

Conservatives can be weird sometimes. One of the issues that has been raised throughout the early 21st century is the rampant hypocrisy that plagues the GOP. They say one thing and do another. For years, they’ve been the “party of family values”. Yet, one scandal after another, we find that conservatives are into tapping toes in Airport bathrooms. Conservatives also seem to like same sex anal play more than openly gay people, it seems.
I know a tightwad is probably going to report the page as ‘improper’ and it will be taken down, so here’s a screen shot of the above linked page:
I’m not judging them for being into ass play, but you have to admit that it’s a bit hypocritical to have such a profound interest in dirty play and play the holier than thou card in public. It’s not just gay sex that they seem hypocritical about, but cheating on wives, prostitution, drugs, bribery, the scandals run the entire gamut of ‘evils’ that they claim they are above. Now, as a semi-religious person, I recognize that no man is free of sin. We are all susceptible to evil, Republican or not. The problem is that the party has taken the stance of criminalizing liberalism and bedeviling all non-Christians, and when it is discovered that they themselves are among the biggest culprits of sin, they say nothing. You could hear a pin drop — in a room filled with conservatives– after all of the gay scandals and the revelation of Madam Palfrey’s whores.
So what is the party going to do now, it’s seriously crippled right now and everyone is disgusted with the GOP and its direction. Yes, even conservatives are shaking their heads in disgust at what the party has become. Only the neo-conservative nuts are defending the party’s evil ways these days, it’s really sad.

Some people have a profound interest in preserving humanity, peace and justice. If you aren’t doing anything to solve the problem, you are part of the problem, right?

Everyone wants to change the world, not everyone has the guts to stand up for their beliefs. Which member of society are you? The passive, submissive, weak and fearful or are you a doer, a revolutionary?

The choice is a simple one, you’re either with us or against us in fighting the injustice that the Bush Administration has brought up on the world.
Chuck Norris approves of this message

Did Mike Huckabee make a funny? I kinda dig the light tone of this campaign ad given what negative, mean, and hateful propaganda is floating around on the Internet. It’s not the best political ad out there, but it’s worthy of posting.
“That’s not a chin behind Chuck Norris’ beard, it’s another fist…” — Classic.
In other news, Chuck Norris is a moron:
Religion will be the end of all mankind
November 18, 2007 | Filed Under Activism, Political, Religion | Leave a Comment
Some people are waiting for a natural disaster, or “the Apocalypse”, or some other predictable way of ending life on earth. I think it’ll be religion, we provide the institutions with so much power and leaders refuse to use it for positive goals other than to promote their own religion at the expense of others. The problem with religion is that by believing that one religion is “right”, religious institutions see this as an invalidation of all other religions and philosophies as “wrong”.
Taking a page out of President Bush’s propaganda, this world will likely see its end come to a “Mushroom Cloud”, but not because of terrorism as we know it today. It’ll be because religious leaders are so eager to destroy other religions and the flock of people who follow their ‘leaders’ will stop at nothing to bury the opposition. Some day, nukes will be in the wrong hands and everyone will pay for the hate, intolerance, and evil that humans promote in the world under the guise of “religion.”
Religion, being as personal as it is, creates so much tension, hatred and anger in the world. The best thing we could all do is start encouraging our leaders, religious and otherwise, to start playing nice and stop bedeviling everyone else. When we spit on others, we should expect they will spit back on us. When we drop bombs and intervene in middle eastern affairs, we should expect that they will want revenge. This is a never ending cycle of violence when leaders refuse to step back into a birds eye view and accept life, history, and international relationships for what they are.
President Bush’s kids aren’t dying in Iraq

Many Americans hate the fact that the President is so quick to promote war, but none of his kids are in harms way. The President dismisses the criticism since his children are daughters, but even if they were sons there is no way in hell that they’d be fighting in the President’s war right now. Look at Mitt Romney, he has something like five sons and not a single one is involved in the military or shedding blood like the rest of America’s children.
The worst part is that most of the children happen to come from poorer families, some people don’t have a choice if they want to provide and put food on the table. The fact that Republicans are so pro-War and happen to be the last to the political table when it comes to fighting for veteran’s rights, the homeless and poor, is really disturbing. Have they no shame?
Cavuto blames Pelosi for high gas prices

Gotta love Fox News! This is too much, funny, but damn… are you serious with this b.s.?
Above screen shot was originally posted on the talking points memo.
It’s easier to just blame Nancy Pelosi then go after the real reasons why gas prices are soaring:
- Iraq War
- Corporate corruption
- Decreasing resources
- OPEC
- the world hates us
- the dollar is weak
I could come up with a lot of reasons that are related to higher gas and energy prices, but the last thing in my mind is Nancy Pelosi an anti-War and anti-Bush activist who represents the Democratic party as Speaker of the House.
if you say “support our troops” then do it

Support the troops by protecting their children, support them and bring them home
Anti-War advocates often raise the issue of family and friends who have lost their lives due to illegal Iraq war and Bush administrative policies. Pro-War advocates often counter the anger by calling these anti-war Americans “unpatriotic” or “unAmerican”. In the end, it’s a bickering session by two interests that are forgetting the most important people of all: the children.
We’ve become accustomed to using children as props. Whether it is SCHIP or combating terrorism, children have become the face of “the future” and we often forget just what kind of affect our political sparring is having on the young. It isn’t even the psychological affects that come with such a negative environment in America, it is the War itself and the ramifications of constantly fragmenting families in order to continue the war. The children in the video above had to see their dad taken away more than one time, they expect daddy will never come back home. What does that do to a child if the same problem can severely affect the mind of a person three times or even ten times their age?
